User Guideline

Respect the community

Our main concern is always safe experience for all players and for everyone out in the real world where the game is played. Following these common-sense guidelines will help ensure you and other players have a great experience and that others are not affected by your gameplay. Remember, certain interactions that seem harmless or fun to you may be perceived in a different way by bystanders or other players.

Treat other players and bystanders with respect and courtesy and conduct yourself in an appropriate manner while using Minar app. Below are some guidelines to keep in mind.

Be respectful

During Gameplay, you may meet the people you play against. It is in everyone’s best interest to keep things courteous and fun for all. Please respect other users. Never defame, abuse, harass, harm, stalk, threaten, or otherwise violate the legal rights (including the rights of privacy and publicity) of others. Violations can result in the loss of your account. If other players are being aggressive, offensive, overly protective towards any Pins and/or Obstacles, or are trolling you; please remove yourself from the situation, do not engage and report directly to us.

Respect privacy

Players are identified in the game by nicknames they select. In addition to making smart choices about how you choose to reveal your own identity (for example, do not use your real name as your nickname and avoid posting your nickname in connection with your real name), do not post, repost, or reveal other information about another user’s identity, including their name, phone number, email address, or physical address, even if a player discloses that info first. Do not reveal such information about bystanders or anyone else, either. Also, do not take photos or videos of other players unless you have their permission. Violations can result in the loss of your account.

Adhere to the rules of the human world

Remember to be alert at all time and stay aware of your surroundings. Please do not trespass, or in any manner gain or attempt to gain access to any property or location where you do not have the right or permission to be.

Avoid inappropriate content

We may review the content you create with MINAR, particularly if another user has flagged it as offensive, and we may remove it if we believe it is inappropriate for the game. That may include sexual or pornographic content, obscenity, or hate speech.

No cheating

Do not do it. Play fair. Minar is meant to be played on a mobile device and get you outside to explore your world! Methods of cheating, unfortunately, are limited only by cheaters’ imaginations, but include at a minimum the following: using modified or unofficial software; playing with multiple accounts (one account per player, please); sharing accounts; using tools or techniques to alter or falsify your location; or selling/trading accounts. Under certain circumstances, Minar ecosystem may be connected to real money currency, therefore cheating in Minar can be deemed as an act of criminal (e.g. fraud, embezzlement, etc) which may bring criminal sanctions and may cause damages to Minar other user which may further trigger claims and lawsuit against the cheater.

We will enforce the Terms and Conditions of the Servies as well as these guidelines

We will review reported or flagged player accounts and content and will determine whether or not they violate the Terms and Conditions of the Servies and/or this User Guideline. Accounts are penalized for violations of the Terms and Conditions of the Servies and/or the User Guideline—we may issue a warning, suspend you from the game, or (for serious or repeated violations) terminate your Minar account entirely without further notice.
